Banff\'s Cave and Basin, a natural thermal mineral spring basin, is a National historic site in Banff National Park, Canada\'s first National Park. It was discovered, accidentally, by three Canadian Pacific Railway workers, William McCardell, Tom McCardell and Frank McCabe, in 1883.

Cave and Basin is really a fun place to visit. Being part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Cave and Basin is surrounded with the magnificent sceneries of the natural mountain beauty. If the weather is good, you may want to take a stroll from Banff\'s downtown Bow River to the Cave and Basin. It is only 40 minutes\' hike.
