Hạ Long Bay(means descending dragon bay), which covers almost 2,000 limestone islets, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist spot. In order to appreciate the beautiful islets and the scenery of the bay, tourists need to take overnight boat rides to explore the bay. For those who had taken the river cruise in Lijiang River, in Guilin, China, would notice the similarity between the scenes of Lijiang and Hạ Long Bay.
Booking for boat ride to explore Hạ Long Bay is quite easy. You may either contact your hotel staff or the local travel agents. Booking through the local agents, of course, would be much cheaper.
