Tokyo Haneda Airport is one of the two primary airports that serve the Greater Tokyo Area. While Narita Airport is far away from the city, around one and half hour train ride, Haneda airport is close to the Tokyo city centre, only 15 minutes train ride to the Tokyo Station. Some of the most popular districts, like Shimbashi, Yurakucho, Shinjuku and Shibuya are within 30 minutes JR train ride from Haneda Airport.
Accessing JR’s Keikyu Line at the Haneda Airport is quite easy. You just need to following the sign “Keikyū Line”, or “京急線”. You may purchase your train ticket from either one of the self-serve ticket machines or the Keikyū Line’s Information Counter. The staffs at the Information Counter are very help and they can speak English fluently. Please note that they only accept cash for ticket purchase.
