Petronas Towers (AKA the Petronas Twin Towers), Kuala Lumpur

Even before the movie “Entrapment”, played by Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones, Petronas Towers have been recognized as the landmark of Kuala Lumpur for a very long time. These towers were the tallest buildings in the world till 2004. Today, they are still holding the record of the tallest twin towers in the world. These towers were designed by an Argentine-American architect called Cesar Pelli.

The two towers are connected by a double-decker skybridge on 41st and 42nd floors. This double-decker bridge is considered the highest double-decker skybridge in the world. The bridge was opened to public for free till 2010. Today, visitors need to purchase a ticket to visit 41st bridge. The 42nd bridge, however, can only be accessed by the towers’ tenants.
