Traveling from Johor to Melaka by coach

Traveling from Johor to Melaka is quite easy. There are many buses leaving for Johor, from the Larkin’s Bus station, each day. You may also purchase your tickets in advance to secure your prefer time slot. There are many bus companies running buses between Johor and Melaka. Many travelers prefer KKKL, as its buses have cleaner and more comfortable seats.

The ride is roughly 3 hours and there would be a toilet break, or stop, before it reaches Melaka. Once you get to the Melaka Sentral bus station, you may catch the Panorama Bus No.17 to get to Jonker Street where the main attractions are. The bus fare is around 2 RM. Bus 17 can be very crowded, particularly on the weekend. You may want to hire a taxi which would cost you approx. 20RM. Make sure you agree the taxi fare before you hop into the car, as most of the taxis do not use their meters.
