Jonker Walk - a fun place in Melaka
Jonker Walk, located at the Jonker Street, is the Chinatown of Malelak, Malaysia. The street, located on the opposite side of Melaka River from Stadthuys, is filled with historical houses dated back to 17th century. Most of the shops in the street are selling antiques, textiles, handicrafts and food. Every weekend, Friday thru Sunday, Jonker Street would be turned into a night market after 6pm and the street would be filled with hundreds of sidewalk stands that serve delicious local snack and beverage. One of the main reasons for the tourists to come to Melaka is because the weekend bazaar.
