Hawker Dining at Chinatown Complex Food Centre(牛車水), Singapore

If you go to Singapore, you have to make an effort to dine at one of the hawker centres in the city. If you are interested in the Singapore’s old traditional hawker dining, you should go to China Complex Food Centre in (牛車水- Niu Che Shui), the Chinatown of Singapore. In this hawker centre you would find some of the local favourite food items, like Yau-Jar-Kwai (Chinese salted donut), oyster egg foo yang, Satay BBQ, deep fried fishes, steamed fish heads and many other traditional Chinese and Malaysian items. The food items here are so good and so inexpensive. It is a haven for your palate, if you don’t care much for its ambiance.

1. Take MRT and get off at Chinatown station
2. Use Exit B.
