Basilica Santa Maria Novella

Basilica San Maria Novella, built in 1567, was designed by the famous Italian painter and architect Giorgio Vasari. It is the first large basilica and the city’s principal Dominican Church in Firenze. Inside the church, you will find a large collection of Roman art treasures and monuments.
