Fushimi Inari, officially known as Fushimi Inari Taisha, is a beautiful Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto, famous for its thousands of vermilion torii. The trail loop to the main shrine building is much longer than you might expect and takes about two hours to complete. Free of charge, open 24 hours but better visit there before 10am to avoid crowd.
