Port Authority

Stavanger is Southwestern of Norway. It's port is next to residential area. I meant right from the port are houses. No shuttle bus services except to other far away attractions, such as the Pulpit Rock. Stavanger's Old Town isn't exactly what you would expect from the historic district in a European city. Comprising nearly 200 restored wooden homes from the 1700s and a number of boutiques and galleries, it's simply charming rather than imposing and perfect for a leisurely stroll and some shopping. Good to spend half a day, maybe less.
