Notre-Dame Cathedral, a Roman Catholic Cathedral which was originally a Jesuit church, is the only cathedral in Luxembourg. This gothic architectural church has several Renaissance elements Though the construction of the church started in 1613, it wasn’t till 1870 the church was elevated to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame by Pope Pius IX.
