Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao, specialized in Shanghai noodle and dumpling dishes, is one of restaurants that belong to Crystal Jade restaurant chain. My friend and I, accidentally, walked into this restaurant at New Town Plaza, Shatin, after we finished our Shatin – Tai Po bike trip.

We ordered five dishes, including a bowl of wanton, La Mian (Stir-fried shanghai noodle), Xiao Long Bao (dumpling), Deep fried Radish Cake and Braised gluten (a vegetarian dish). We enjoyed all the dishes and we also found the price is quite reasonable. I personally would recommend the Deep fried radish cake and, if you are not allergic to gluten, the Braised gluten dishes.

In addition to the Crystal Jade restaurant, there are many other restaurants in New Town Plaza. Shoppers at New Town Plaza would have plenty of cuisine options to choose from.
