Texas Bakery, Chinatown, Austin

Don’t let the name fool you. Texas Bakery is not selling any Texas bakery product. It is a Chinese bakery that sells sweet BBQ pork Buns, coconut cream buns, wife cakes, etc. I had similar items from some of the Chinese Bakeries in Houston; and their items were much better than Texas Bakery. The Chinese bakery products are, usually, more appealing to Asian than westerners. Considering the Asian population in Austin is much lower than the Asian population in Houston, it is a nice surprise there is such a bakery in the city.
